WEDNESDAY WANT - GUNNER & LUX

First of all, does it get any cuter than a nine year old little girl who started a jewelry & fashion business with her dad! We love supporting entrepreneurs like Gunner & Lux, who make the most adorable items. The necklaces are great to give as a gift and have always been a big hit with the kids. They have some adult necklaces as well, so it was an absolute must to have a mommy and mini matching set. We just love this concept and the positive girl power message of this brand.

MUST HAVE MONDAY - BARSTOOLS

We all tend to gather in the center of the home, which for most people is the kitchen. That is why it is so important to have a comfortable and functional place to sit. There are so many choices for counter stools, and today we are looking at those made of natural materials. It’s nice to have that type of element in a kitchen. It really warms up a space and gives it another texture. Kitchens can sometimes feel cold with a lot of metal and stone, and that is why we love bringing in this type of material for a seating option. What do you like?? We look forward to exploring all of the different types of counter stools available.

MUST HAVE MONDAY - CLASSIC WHITE TOPS

When in doubt, throw on a classic white top! We are always drawn to a crisp white blouse. Dress them up...or dress them down...they will work with almost everything. In our opinion, you can never have too many in your closet. We are loving all of these blouses. They are also all great transitional pieces as we approach spring.

MEATBALLS STUFFED WITH MOZZARELLA

These are the ABSOLUTE best meatballs. I mean, anything that's stuffed with a mozzarella ball has to be good, right?! It really does take a meatball to the next level. We highly recommend giving this recipe a try.

| TURKEY MEATBALLS STUFFED WITH MOZZARELLA SERVED OVER BAKED SPAGHETTI SQUASH |

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • mozzarella balls
  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 jar tomato sauce

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine the ground meat, parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, eggs, salt, pepper, oregano, & basil. Combine everything until the ingredients are evenly mixed.
  3. Form the ground meat mixture into small meatballs, each about he size of a golf ball.
  4. Insert a small mozzarella ball in the center of each meatball & reform the meatball around the cheese. The mozzarella should be completely hidden from sight.
  5. Dredge each meatball in the flour to lightly coat it and gently tap off any excess.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  7. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Once the oil is hot, add half of the meatballs and sauté for a 4-5 minutes, turning every so often to brown the outside.
  8. Once the meatballs are browned, remove them from the oil and repeat the process with the remaining meatballs.
  9. Pour the tomato sauce into a baking dish and place the browned meatballs on top.
  10. Place in preheated oven and let the meatballs continue to bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Great served over pasta or spaghetti squash and garnished with fresh basil and grated parmesan.
