FRIDAY FINDS - PATBO SPRING FAVES

Friday Finds today will focus on a designer that we both love, PatBo. We love the sophisticated feminine elegance that the pieces in the collection have. It’s just so unique from other designers that we have seen. Ashley is wearing a skirt that she recently wore on a trip to Aruba. This skirt could be worn with different tops, shoes and accessories, but will always remain the standout piece. That is what makes PatBo special! To top it off, the skirt is currently on sale.

All of the PatBo pieces we picked today are from the resort collection and in the same two patterns because those are our favorites. We love that you can get a top, skirt, romper, dress and even swimsuit in the leaf print or the paradise print. How can we choose?? Happy shopping!!!

KIDS SPRING LOOKS - FEATURING THE BEAUFORT BONNET COMPANY

We had the absolute best time at Charlottes in Raleigh with our girls modeling new spring looks for The Beaufort Bonnet Company. We both bought the sweet swaddles TBBC makes for our babies when they were born, and have been dressing our kids in this brand ever since. We always shop at Charlottes for the best selection of TBBC, and this season is just the cutest! The patterns for boys and girls this spring/summer are amazing, and they have the best bubbles and play dresses in soft cotton. The girls didn’t want to leave Charlottes because of all the clothes they wanted to try on and all of the fun toys they had to play with. We even got in on the action with a group pajama picture! Come check out the full selection at Charlottes. You can call the store 919-787-7113 or send them a direct message on Instagram to order your favorite pieces. You can even pay via PayPal invoice to make it extra easy. They seriously have the best customer service!
We are wearing the adorable Fripp Fishies with Hamptons Hot Pink Pajamas. They come in a one piece option up to a size 2T, a two piece pant set from size 3T - size 10, and in a two piece short set for the ladies.
These outfits are one of our absolute favorites from this season. Lanier is wearing the Britt Bubble in Bluffton Bows & Connell is wearing the Sleeveless Polly Play Dress in Bluffton Bows.

The girls were making very important calls wearing Lainey's Little Set in Breakers Blue Seersucker (left) and Reagan Romper in Chattanooga Check (right).

We can't forget the boys.....
The Prim & Proper Polos are the cutest! We are loving all these colors. They pair perfectly with the following shorts.

The Shelton Shorts are what our boys live in during the summer. They have been a favorite for years! All of these would be perfect wardrobe staples.

FRIDAY FINDS - HOME DECOR

We would love to have our homes come from a Serena and Lily catalogue, but it’s nice to find some more budget friendly options. These target finds have us so excited because they offer the same fresh feel, but at a more affordable price point. A lot of these pieces can also be used in more than one way, which is great in a smaller space. This Friday Finds has us focusing on a little spring refresh in our homes. Does this time of year make you want to refresh everything too?

WHOLESOME BANANA OATMEAL MUFFINS

These muffins are the best of the best and they don't contain flour, refined sugar, oil, or dairy! They are seriously SO EASY to make. All you need are 5 simple ingredients and a food processor or blender. My entire family loves them and I have made them at least 100 times. Not at all necessary, but I do usually add the optional chocolate chips. I know that cancels out the no refined sugar part, but it's so worth it. I have tried many healthy whole food muffin recipes over the years and nothing beats these. The next time you have some ripe bananas laying around definitely make this recipe. It will not disappoint!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pitted whole dates
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • optional - raisins, nuts, berries or chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease or line muffin tin.
  3. Mix all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth.
  4. Stir in optional raisins, berries or chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop batter into muffin tin. You should have enough for 10-12 standard size muffins.
  6. Top with optional nuts (I prefer chopped pecans)
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

      MUST HAVE MONDAY - EARRINGS

With spring on our minds it’s always fun to give our accessory collection a little refresh. Earrings can take a basic outfit and make it feel special. So if you want to feel a little glamorous, or just wear something other than a simple stud, we have some fresh options for you to choose from. We would love to have all of these beautiful jewels, but even adding one or two new options each season can make an outfit feel brand new! We especially love all of the twists on the hoops this season!!

      FRIDAY FINDS - PILLOWS

One of the easiest ways to refresh a room is by simply changing out the pillows. We love how there are so many gorgeous ready made options available using designer fabrics. If you are on the home refresh train like us, these are all winners in our opinion.

      MACARONI & CHEESE PLEASE

Macaroni & Cheese is the ultimate crowd pleaser! There are many fancy and delicious mac and cheese recipes out there, but our favorite is Paula Deen’s “The Lady’s Cheesy Mac” recipe. It's so good and best of all, it's SUPER simple to make.

      Ingredients

      • 4 cups cooked drained elbow macaroni
      • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese (optional-1 Cup for topping)
      • 3 eggs, beaten
      • 1/2 cup sour cream
      • 4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
      • 1/2 teaspoon salt
      • 1 cup milk
      Directions
      1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
      2. Prepare macaroni per package directions, and drain. Place cooked macaroni in a large bowl and while still hot, add the cheddar cheese (this will help it melt).
      3. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and add to the macaroni mixture. Pour macaroni mixture into a casserole dish and top with optional cup of cheese is desired (we recommend the extra cheese)
      4.  Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until the top is slightly golden brown.

MUST HAVE MONDAY - VALENTINES KID LOOKS

Janie & Jack has some really cute pieces for babies, toddlers & kids right now. We are loving all the red and pink, so we styled some adorable Valentines Day looks for both girls and boys. The resort wear is also really good! Although its January, we just couldn't resist the precious candy red ruffle swimsuit and made sure to scoop it up before it sells out. Swimsuits & Sunnies also make a perfect Valentines Day gift in our opinion. ❤️

      FRIDAY FINDS - WALLPAPER

Most of our conversations these past few days have been about all the things we want to do to our home. There is just something about when the beginning of a new year rolls around that makes you want to do a house refresh. Adding wallpaper is a great place to start. It makes a big impact in any room. If you are timid about using wallpaper in a larger room then experiment with it in a smaller space first, like a powder room. The wallpapers we selected below are some of our favorites. We love the classic & crisp feel of the blue and white wallpaper combo.
It's always helpful to see the wallpaper in a room so you can better understand the scale and repeat of the design.
