HOMEMADE WAFFLES

So we may not be whipping up a batch of homemade waffles all the time but when we do, these are super easy and delicious. They also freeze really well so we like to have a batch in the freezer for a quick breakfast. Just preheat the oven to 350° and throw in a frozen waffle until warm, usually takes about 3-4 minutes. We also have the best mini waffle maker which can be found on Amazon (click here). We love that it's super small and hardly takes up any space.

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Pure Maple Syrup & Fruit, for serving

Instructions
  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, butter, honey, cinnamon, & baking soda until well combined.
  3. Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together just until large lumps disappear.
  4. Once the waffle iron is hot, ladle some batter onto the center of the iron. Each waffle iron cook time will vary.  We use a mini waffle maker and it takes exactly 4 minutes to cook each waffle.
  5. Keep waffles warm until you finish cooking the batch.  Top with pure maple syrup & fruit.

  1. Villaware waffle makers design looks great in your kitchen. The different models have extremely good finish and fit well in your kitchen. They are aesthetic looking tools and some of the models have a beautiful chrome exterior.. WaffleMakerBay.Com Another important feature which helps you in deciding the best waffler for buying is the heat control settings which help you in deciding how much browned wafflers you would like to have
